Life Before Zephyr® Valves:

I had a lot of fun and I traveled a lot. My greatest passion was traveling.

The most memorable trips were the ones I cherished the most, as I have a deep interest in antiquity, artefacts, and such. I visited Machu Picchu and travelled across the Caribbean. To reach Machu Picchu, I had to walk for four hours, and there I experienced a terrifying drop at night.

I began to feel short of breath. I managed to descend and catch the plane, but my journey seemed to halt. The impact of Machu Picchu affected not my determination, but my strength. If I had to climb two steps, I had to think about it or rely on someone else for support. In bed, I couldn't sleep standing up,my own weight made breathing difficult. I always had a love for Koi fish. At this workshop, there was a doctor who had returned from America and specialised in treatment what could help me.

Then I arrived at the hospital in Brescia where they conducted tests and subsequently performed the Zephyr Valve procedure on me. When I woke up, I felt transformed. The results were immediate. My suffering ceased at that moment and everyone told me, "You're back". That marked my new beginning, my rebirth. It's not that I want to do less, maybe even more. I started slowly to regain everything I had lost. And now, for example, as I'm speaking, I feel better than I did seven years ago when we had the procedure.
